WINNING PROJECT AT BIM&DIGITAL AWARDS 2020 IN THE 4 SMALL PROJECTS CATEGORY<\/a><\/p>\n

The property is a building dating back to the 1600s, under Superintendence constraint, which was in an advanced state of decay The proposed intervention is a measured balance between conservation and technological innovation.<\/p>\n

Reverse engineering of the building was performed by building an immersive navigation model, using laser scanner technology combined with photogrammetry, processed in the Cloud with deep neural networks.<\/p>\n

The entire BIM design flow was managed with the proprietary E-Building<\/a> platform, (developed in partnership with Matterport<\/a>)in which the documentation and design models are stocked, which together with the material acquired during the works, delivery notes, certificates, reports, ape, inspections, land registry, etc., becomes part of the Digital Fascicle, realizing a real Time Travel of the building and can be consulted online with one’s own login credentials.<\/p>\n

A Co-Design Model was created from the .ifc file, with which it is possible to navigate into the project and make different choices of the finishing elements and check the result in real time.<\/p>\n
